beautype 2021 — Type Foundry

This is a fictional project for my graduating work at Kunstschule Wandsbek in Hamburg GER, specializing in type and editorial design. All typefaces seen in this project/presented in the book were designed and built by myself. The whole project includes the design of 10 different and new grotesque typefaces, a book with 192 printed pages, an exhibition showcasing 30 typographic posters, a fitting corporate design and much more. All of this was made between APR and AUG 2020. It was an intense trip where I was able to sharpen all my skills, but I was especially able to learn a lot about type and editorial design, which I’m very thankful for. I’m looking forward to the future and many more projects like these.
