New technologies such as the virtual reality can add an extra dimension to the educational offer of cultural institutes. The stereotyped image of the archives as old place of memory is thus replaced by a new culture of management, safeguard and diffusion.

In that respect, the aim of Deep. Virtual Archives is to create an experience in which the user could move and interact with the heritage that the archives preserve, proposing in an abstract key all the archival assets of the place to which it is applied.
