Lady Spider

In this changing world, faced with the challenges of global warming and the sixth mass extinction, it seems more essential than ever to understand the world around us in order to better preserve it. Measuring 5 cm on average, the spider is an everyday companion. Its informality frightens us: with its multiple eyes, its hairy body and its eight legs. Although wrongly considered as a danger, it is not at all mortal for humans.
However, arachnophobia is one of the most common fears in the Western world. Indeed, it is a fear that originates from the cultural imagination surrounding this animal, rather than a rational, instinctive fear aimed at protecting us. Its world is actually very poetic: aerial, silky and sensory.

Can we understand this fear and deconstruct the myths surrounding it? How can we show the beauty of its world? What does the spider have to teach us?
The objective of this project is to create editorial and typographic in order to demystify spider. To get out of an anthropocentric conception of the world, to learn so as not to be afraid.
